CanoëART
has adapted a canoe model designed in the early 1900's for prospectors.
We chose this model because it is the most suited for most canoe
lovers.
Its features are:

rounded bottom contour / curved in near the middle for added
stability and ease of manoeuvrability
- Length: 487.7 cm (16 feet)
- Width at central thward: 86.4 cm (34 inches)
- Rocker: 7.6 cm (3 inches)
- Depth: 35.6 cm (14 inches)
- Weight: 29.5-34 kg (65-75 lbs) depending
on finishing details.
These features allow for maximum manoeuvrability
in rivers and lakes, remarkable stability and good stowage (which
will be an asset for the canoe-camping enthousiast). This canoe
is easily paddled alone or with a companion, and its depth is
sufficient to keep everyone dry!
Thus, it is an excellent canoe for fun and for
trips.
